About Us

A church where lives are redeemed, renewed, and revived by God's grace

“For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.”

1 Corinthians 2:2

Our Mission

The mission of Redemption Hill is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world through our words and actions, through service to our community and to all parts of the world where God might call us; to live redeemed lives, boldly and unapologetically, for the world to see.

Our Invitation

We will invite the churched and unchurched, young and old to join our family so that all can be transformed by the love of God and the love of God’s people; to truly be disciples of Jesus Christ so that we can grow together in our faith and obedience towards God.

Our Welcome

At Redemption Hill, we’re excited to welcome you—no matter where you are in life. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking for a community to grow with, you’ll find a home here. We take God’s Word seriously and love doing life together!

Why Redemption Hill?

Why Redemption Hill?

At Redemption Hill, our name tells a story. "Redemption" reminds us of the hope and freedom we find in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice—a gift that transforms lives and restores us to God. "Hill" points to a place of strength and gathering, like the hill where Christ’s love was made known to the world. Together, Redemption Hill reflects our calling to be a community where everyone is welcomed, loved, and renewed, standing firm in faith as we live out God’s grace. Join us at “the Hill”!

Leadership

Our diverse team of leaders guides us with wisdom, passion and faith.

What We Believe

Our beliefs are rooted in the unchanging truth of God’s Word and guide everything we do. Click below to explore them:

We believe in the one and only God, who exists eternally in three persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that all humans, male and female, were created in the image of God, to be known and loved by Him. We were made to glorify and be in fellowship with God, but our relationship with Him and our very nature has been broken by sin, which has made us all subject to God’s judgement.

We believe that all of our world, spiritual and physical, was created by God. We believe that our world has been broken by sin and remains in corruption and rebellion and is in need of God’s redemption.

We believe that God’s gift of His Son, Jesus, is the only and all-sufficient way we can be saved from the guilt, power, and eternal consequences of our sin and restored to a full relationship with Him. We believe we receive this salvation only through our repentance and faith in the atoning death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We believe that Jesus’ sacrifice is sufficient for salvation because He is truly God’s Son—fully human and fully divine. We believe that Jesus’ humanity and divinity were demonstrated through both His death and resurrection as well as His sinless and miraculous life.

We believe that the Holy Spirit will lead those who believe in the Lord Jesus into transformed lives. This radical and divinely powered transformation happens as we come to see Jesus more clearly, know Him more intimately and follow Him more closely. This life is marked with increasing conformity to Christ’s goodness and holiness, as we die to our sin and self-seeking. We believe this transformation is accomplished through obedience and self-denial by the believer and empowerment and cleansing by the Holy Spirit.

We believe in one universal Church, which is made up of all who have been saved by faith in Jesus Christ and seek to serve, love and obey Him.

We believe that human history will come to an end when Jesus returns and this world is redeemed through the creation of a new heaven and new earth. We believe that all will be raised from the dead—the saved, to eternal life with God, the lost, to God’s eternal condemnation.

We believe the Bible, the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and authoritative written Word of God. We believe the Bible is entirely trustworthy in all that it teaches and reveals, we are obligated to obey its teaching and all of our doctrines and practices are subject to it.

Our Core Values

The cross of Jesus Christ will be the foundation of everything we do and everything we are as a church. Click each value below to learn more.
