About Me
I'm currently a Discipleship Coach with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). BGEA discipleship coaches guide new believers — and people who are simply curious about Christianity — through free online discipleship courses. We encourage them, pray for them, and help them grow in their faith or come to know Jesus for the first time.
I've seen first-hand how women discipling other women can catapult their walk with God and coach them into a deeper understanding of Scripture. I was the beneficiary of one-on-one Christian discipleship more than 25 years ago, and it was a blessing to me and to my new marriage. Years later, I was able to disciple two younger women who not only accepted the Lord during our study of John, but led their husbands and their children to God. Some of them now work full-time for their church, their husbands have become leaders in men's ministry, and some of their children have gone on to Christian colleges for futures in full-time ministry.
About this Study
This group is for mature Christian women who want to mentor, disciple, and encourage other women to grow in their walk with Christ — through Scripture, authentic relationships, and intentional discipleship. The goal is not personal study alone. It is learning to pass your faith on to the next generation.
We will read and discuss the book together through the fall of 2026. In 2027, we plan to branch off, and each of us will mentor one or two women through the Gospel of John. My goal is to coach you to become discipleship coaches yourselves.
We are reading When Women Walk Alone: Finding Strength and Hope Through the Seasons of Life by Cindi McMenamin. Copies run about $9 on Amazon.
Schedule and Content Notes
We meet every other Monday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at 607 Main St., North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 — a short walk from the theatre. Our first session is Monday, September 28, 2026.
