Jerome Redmond

Hi, I’m Jerome, and I serve as Head of Equip classes at Redemption Hill Church! Born and raised in Prince George’s County, MD, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ at 18 and started my first Bible study in my college dorm over 30 years ago. After nearly 20 years in North Carolina, my wife, Nicole—my college sweetheart and ministry partner of 30 years—and I landed in North Myrtle Beach five years ago. We’re blessed with five sons, Jabari, Jair, Jahaziel, Jared, and Jahidi, and one daughter-in-law, LaNija. I hold a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland. In my free time, I love worshipping, cooking, and movie trivia, and I play a mean game of Scrabble!

My heart is to share the Word of God and encourage and love God's people to do the same (2 Tim. 2:1-4). I have a particular passion in defending the Truth of the Scriptures by defining all things with a biblical ethic (1 Pet. 3:15).
