Rooted and Established
In this special one-off message closing out the year, Pastor Richard invites us to reflect on where we’ve been and where God is leading us next as a church family. As we stand on the threshold of a new year, we’re reminded of God’s faithfulness in our early days and His ongoing work among us.
Drawing from Jesus’ teaching in Luke 6:46–49, this message centers on the importance of building our lives on a solid foundation. While storms are unavoidable, Jesus makes it clear that those who hear His words and put them into practice will stand firm. This sermon challenges us to move beyond simply listening to God’s Word and to become a people who live it out with obedience and trust.
As Pastor Richard reflects on the growth of our church, we’re reminded that God’s primary concern is not numbers, but maturity — shaping us into a unified, Christ-centered body rooted deeply in truth and love. Through Scripture and personal reflection, we’re invited to consider what it truly means to be rooted and established in Christ.
This message encourages us to look ahead with faith, to commit ourselves to spiritual depth, and to trust that God is preparing us for what’s next. As we move into a new year, we’re called to dig deep, build wisely, and walk forward together on the firm foundation God has provided.
Whether you’re new to our church or have been part of the journey from the beginning, this sermon will encourage you to reflect, recommit, and step confidently into the future God is shaping for us.
Join us as we close the year with gratitude and begin the next season anchored in Christ — firm, faithful, and ready for what’s ahead.
